DISCOVER THE BEAUTY OF THE RAVA ISLAND!

The island of Rava is situated between the islands of Iž and Dugi Otok, hidden from the view, protected and secured, yet close to reach by boat. Its countless lagoons and crystal clear sea will captivate your attention at the first glance.

Rava is a small island, occupying an area of only 3.63 km² and with no more than 120 inhabitants. As a part of Zadar’s archipelago, Rava is connected with Zadar and the island of Iž by a regular ferry line. The name of Rava was first mentioned in the 13th century, along with the records of Zadar’s aristocratic family Raua, which owned the estates on the island and which gave the island its name. There are two settlements on the island: Vela Rava is situated in the central area and Mala Rava is located in the North-western part of the island.

The Villa Rava is located in Grbavac bay near Vela Rava and it is an ideal place for everyone who wants to slow down and enjoy their vacation with all their senses. The Villa is only reachable by boat; a berth is provided on the waterfront and includes an electrical connection and a toilet, and it is also possible to moor to buoys.

Relentless hikers can take a stroll down the seaside footpath (which takes 15 minutes) or over the hill (which takes 20 minutes). It is also possible to jog towards the end of the island through a small wood. The island of Rava, its archipelago, lagoons and olive orchards offers a myriad experiences for its guests.
